Our clients’ peace of mind is very important to us. That’s one of the reasons why we do a in-home Meet & Greet with every prospective dog walking or pet sitting client at Ready Pet Go. It’s purpose is to give you and your pets the opportunity to get to know the pet sitter who will be caring for your pets and familiarize the pet sitter with your pets and their routines. It’s never easy to leave your pets, but we want you to know that they are being cared for by an experienced and trustworthy professional.
Getting to Know You
After the initial introductions to you and your pets, your pet sitter will sit down with you and review the pet care information you’ve already entered into our online system to make sure everything we have is correct and to get more details as needed. The pet sitter will also tell you about our company and how we work and answer any questions you may have. Our pet sitter will also review our company policies with you.
Next, the pet sitter will ask you to take her on a tour of your home. During the tour you get to show your pet sitter where your pets eat, potty, sleep, hide, etc. as well as the locations of things like food and treats, leashes, litter boxes, and carriers. The pet sitter will also ask for two copies of your house keys at the Meet & Greet, and before leaving your pet sitter will check both keys to make sure they work in the door.
Once your Meet & Greet is complete, you are ready to schedule dog walking, pet sitting, or pet taxi services with us at your convenience.
