Tips for Bringing Your Dog To Farms and Fall Activities

  • Ensure your dog is well-socialized and comfortable in busy, stimulating environments. Avoid overcrowded areas if your dog seems stressed.
  • Keep your dog on leash at all times. For the safety of other guests, staff, the farm animals, and your dog, all of these farms welcome leashed dogs only.
  • Bring water and take breaks if it’s warm out. Dehydration and heat stroke can happen quickly for pups exerting energy all day.
  • Be aware of your dog and clean up any waste immediately. Bag it and dispose properly in covered bins.
  • Have visible, up-to-date Identification on your dog in case they get separated from you in the crowds.
  • Be courteous of other guests who may be fearful of dogs. Maintain at least a 6-foot distance from others unless they’ve asked or chosen to be closer to your dog.
  • Most of all, remember it’s a fun family outing! Pups love exploring new smells and sights. Make some great family memories and enjoy this time together with your dog!
