Past Dog-Friendly Light Shows

Lights and Leashes

Friday, November 17 & Saturday, November 18

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Sandy Point State Park (Annapolis, MD)

For two nights only, animal lovers are invited to bring their pet and walk through the light show on foot. All pets are required to be on leashes for this event. Proceeds benefit the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

Leashes ‘n’ Lights

Monday, November 20

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Seneca Creek State Park (Gaithersburg, MD)

Treat your pooch to a leisurely 1-mile stroll or an invigorating 3-mile walk at Leashes ‘n’ Lights. Bond with your favorite canine as you experience more than 450 magical light displays. Enjoy hot drinks and take a pet selfie with Santa (bring your own camera). In the heated tent, there will also be a variety of dog vendors present including Corgasaur, 4H Kids N Dogs Club, Pet Wants, Warrior Canine Connection. Last entry at 8 pm.

Enchant Christmas Paws n’ Claus Night

Sunday, December 3

5:30 pm – 6:30 pm & 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Nationals Park (Washington, DC)

Bring your best fur friend to Paws n’ Claus and give a full-belly meal to a shelter dog. For one very special night, your favorite four-legged dog friend is in for a treat! Sniff through the World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze, snap a photo together with Santa, and so much more. Paws n’ Claus offers the full Enchant Christmas experience with the added perk of being dog-friendly for one night only.

Tail Lights

Tuesday, December 5

5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Merriweather Symphony of Lights (Columbia, MD)

Dogs like the Lights too! Join us for Tail Lights and walk through the Lights with your family, friends, and pups! Costumes encouraged for both dogs and humans. All dogs must be leashed. A portion of proceeds from this event benefit the Howard County General Hospital.

Cascade Lights Pup Strut

Sunday, November 26 & Sunday, December 10

5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Coppermine Cascade Park (Hampstead, MD)

Cascade Lights is back bigger and brighter in 2023! Experience the magic at Cascade Lights, Coppermine’s outdoor holiday celebration this season. We invite dogs to attend the lights for special treats and pictures with Santa on for the PUP STRUT. This event benefits Tails of Hope Rescue.

Christmas In the Corn

Fridays & Saturdays in December

Local Homestead Products (New Windsor, MD)

Head to the farm for our third annual family friendly Holiday Light Trail! Our corn maze has been transformed into a winter wonderland of lights and holiday decor! Christmas Village features over a half million lights, a Candy Store, Toys from the Farm (both stuffed animals and other fun toys) AND pictures with The Grinch and Santa!! Dogs are welcome but must stay on a leash.
