We understand that things come up and plans change. Sometimes clients need to cancel dog walking or pet sitting visits that they had previously scheduled and paid for. We also believe that our pet sitters’ time is valuable. Pet sitters often plan their vacations and time with their family and friends around client schedules. We have a limited number of pet sitting and dog walking appointment slots available each day and once they’re filled, we have to turn away any additional dog walking or pet sitting requests in order to ensure that our pet sitters have sufficient time to give each pet the quality care they deserve. We never overbook.
To be fair to our clients who occasionally need to change their schedules and our pet sitters and dog walkers who set aside time for appointments and to ensure that our appointment slots are available to those who need them most, we require require at least 24 hours’ notice to receive an account credit for cancelled services. Due to increased demand during Holiday Periods, cancellations require at least 7 days’ notice to receive an account credit for cancelled services.
For monthly dog walking plans, clients pay for a guaranteed recurring spot on our schedule and receive a discounted rate. Because of this we do not give refunds or credits for cancellations for dog walking plan visits. However, we allow walks to occasionally to moved to a different day or time with at least 24 hours’ notice.
